Abraham,

Were you inspired when you received a voice calling you to a higher destiny.

Recognized by the three monotheistic religions, you have become a reference.

When I began my Judaica series in the 90’s, I wanted to show the many facets of Judaism in the colors of life.

My predecessors, especially the School of Paris, addressed these topics: Rembrandt, Chagall, Mane Katz, Soutine, Walter Spitzer, Karol Adler, Richard Weisberg...

There is also the fabulous work of memory of Alain Kleinmann.

Previously, the rabbinical prohibitions did not allow artists the act of representing. But is it not the common lot of religions to try to dictate to artists how they should create. Art is freedom and steadily evolves…
